The nationalist leader who was elected unopposed as the Balochistan chief minister would take oath of his office at 6:00 after formal announcement of his victory in the provincial assembly session.
Fifty five members present in the house elected Dr Malik with consensus.
Speaker Balochistan Assembly Jan Mohammed Jamali, following the voting, declared Dr Malik unanimously as CM.
